Introducing our new website!

If you haven’t already visited our new website, now is the time to see what we have been up to. In addition to our existing resources, there are a broad range of new resources for both aged care service providers and consumers and carers, including the new bilingual aged care staff directories and the Inclusive Service Standards: a resource for aged care providers.

The website address remains the same - www.culturaldiversity.com.au - we hope you find it useful.

New Inclusive Service Standards: A resource for aged care providers

The Centre is pleased to share the new Inclusive Service Standards: A resource for aged care providers.

The Standards provide a new framework that will support aged care providers in their journey of becoming inclusive for all consumers.

By meeting the Inclusive Service Standards aged care providers will be able to:
  • better understand the diverse interests, goals and needs of their consumers;
  • empower consumers to make informed decisions about their service provision;
  • deliver flexible, accessible services free of barriers and discrimination; and
  • implement the Consumer Directed Care approach and achieve quality outcomes for all consumers.

The new Bilingual Aged Care Staff Directories

Our new online bilingual aged care staff directories allow you to search for an aged care service with bilingual staff in your area.

The Aged Care Services with Bilingual Staff Directory lists approved home care and residential aged care providers who have bilingual staff working at their services.

The Bilingual Agency Staff Directory lists agencies who have bilingual staff that can be hired out to aged care service providers.

We also encourage you to register your service on one or both of the directories.

LASA Tri-State Conference

We had a fantastic time at the LASA Tri-State Conference in Albury last month. It was a pleasure to share and discuss our new website and resources and to hand out copies of the new Inclusive Service Standards. We would like to extend a big congratulations to the winners of the Excellence in Age Service Awards.
